Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Director).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, PDF, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The manuscript is in accordance with the Author Guidelines
  4. References should follow the format provided in the article template and follow the Cite Them Right Harvard 12th citation style. Ensure to use reference manager such as Zotero or Mendeley.

  5. Authors are permitted to submit a maximum of 2 (two) papers, either as the first author or as a co-author.

  6. The acceptable similarity percentage of the article is below 20% (with no exceptions).
  7. If the author passes the initial screening, the author(s) are willing to continue the process of uploading the manuscript to the IOP Publishing (Morressier) platform, which will be announced later.

Authors who submit to the 2nd International Conference on Geospatial Data Science: Theory and Application 2026 (GEODETA 2026) agree to the following terms:
a) Authors retain copyright over their work, while granting the conference the right to place this unpublished work under a Creative Commons Attribution License. This license permits others to freely access, use, distribute, and share the work, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the authors and to its initial presentation at this conference.

b) Authors may waive the terms of the Creative Commons license and enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution and subsequent publication of the work (e.g., publication of a revised version in a journal, inclusion in a book, or deposit in an institutional repository), with appropriate acknowledgment of its initial presentation at this conference.

c) Authors are encouraged to post and share their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on personal or institutional websites) at any point before and after the conference.
