International Conference on Public Health for Tropical and Coastal Development (ICOPH-TCD 2022)
The Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has spread all over the world since the end of 2019. In Indonesia, COVID-19 cases fluctuated, until July-August 2021 the positive rate in Indonesia was very high, reaching thousands of cases every day with a significantly increased mortality rate. Although the peak of the second wave of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has been exceeded, this leaves various problems in the future.
The threat of the emergence of a third wave, the adaptation of new habits of society, and the risk of a double burden due to non-communicable diseases that are increasing from time to time make it important to strengthen the resilience of the health system in Indonesia.
The Faculty of Public Health, University of Diponegoro (FKM UNDIP) raised the theme in the International Conference of Public Health-Tropical and Coastal Development (ICOPH-TCD) in 2022 with the topic “Strengthening Health Resilience In Public Health System After Peak Of Covid-19 Pandemicâ€. ICOPH-TCD is an international conference regularly held by FKM UNDIP since 2016. Collaboration of various speakers from various countries, as well as presenters who presented papers related to public health in the realm of Biostatics and Population, Health Promotion, Occupational Health and Safety, Reproductive Health, Epidemiology, and Tropical Diseases, Community Nutrition, Environmental Health, and Health Administration and Policy. It is hoped that in providing insight into problems and strengthening the resilience of the public health system after the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.
In addition, the international conference held is also expected to be able to open opportunities for collaboration between Diponegoro University in general and the Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University in particular in the fields of research, visiting lectures, student exchanges, with various health and educational institutions in various countries.
In its implementation, a call for paper is also held which aims as a forum for the dissemination of research on public health and to increase the number of quality publications in international proceedings.Â
2021 International Conference on Chemical Engineering and Applied Sciences
The International Conference on Chemical Engineering and Applied Sciences (ICChEAS) is held every two years to accommodate academic and professional communities to discuss and exchange ideas. Previously, ICChEAS was known as International Conference on Chemical Engineering Sciences and Applications (ICChESA), which was held by Chemical Engineering Department of Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia together with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Shah Alam, Malaysia in 2017 (http://icchesa.unsyiah.ac.id/) and continued in 2019 (http://iccheas.unsyiah.ac.id/) with four collaborative universities.
This year, the 2nd of ICChEAS will be organized collaboratively by Vocational School, Diponegoro University (UNDIP) Indonesia together with Chemical Engineering Department Syiah Kuala University (USK) Indonesia, Chemical Engineering Department Riau University (UNRI) Indonesia and the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. The aim objective of the 2nd ICChEAS is to provide the most advanced and comprehensive global forum for disseminating results and data in research, development and applications in chemical engineering and applied science area. The 2nd ICChEAS 2021 has a theme ‘’Designing Tomorrow: Towards Sustainable Engineering and Technologyâ€.
Because currently, the entire world is struggling against the pandemic Covid-19 including in Indonesia, the 2nd ICChEAS Committees have decided for organizing the conference through full online meetings. You are welcome to contribute papers and attend the conference.

The 6th International Seminar on New Paradigm and Innovation on Natural Sciences and Its Application
The 6th International Seminar on New Paradigm and Innovation on Natural Sciences and Its Application (6th ISNPINSA) is annual conferences organized by Faculty of Sciences and Mathematics (FSM), Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. This seminar has been successfully conducted since 2011 and therefore becoming an annual event since then.
The objectives of ISNPINSA are to facilitate brain storming and state of the art information in field of sciences and mathematics; to increase innovation of technology that can be applied in industries; to contribute in formulating strategy to increase the role of science for community; and to stimulate collaboration between industries, researchers and government to increase community welfare.
The theme of 6th INSPINSA in 2016 is “Science and Its Application for Productive and Sustainable Developmentâ€.

Seminar Safety dan Halal 2016
Salah satu kepentingan pokok konsumen di Indonesia yang notabene sebagian besar Muslim adalah kehalalan produk yang dikonsumsi dan digunakan. Sertifikasi halal bersifat mandatory (wajib) dan tidak hanya bersifat voluntary (sukarela) bagi produk makanan dan kosmetika yang digunakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya umat Muslim. Kondisi ini tentu saja menjadi tantangan bagi masyarakat Muslim Indonesia itu sendiri maupun stakeholders atau pemangku kepentingan di Indonesia. Lembaga Pengkajian Pangan, Obat-obatan, dan Kosmetika Majelis Ulama Indonesia (LPPOM MUI) sebagai lembaga otonomi bentukan MUI, memiliki wewenang secara legal formal untuk mengeluarkan sertifikasi halal yang diberikan kepada Masyarakat Muslim Indonesia, dalam hal ini adalah mereka yang mampu menjadi produsen produk-produk pangan maupun kosmetika. Mengingat besarnya jumlah komunitas Muslim di Indonesia, tentu saja LPPOM-MUI akan kewalahan menghadapi tantangan ini, setidaknya apabila lembaga tersebut memerankan peran tunggal dalam tugasnya. Pelayanan sertifikasi halal terhadap masyarakat yang terlampau lama dan berbelit tentu saja akan menjadi taruhannya.
Konsorsium Halal Jawa Tengah yang dimotori oleh Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) dan  Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP) sebagai institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia yang memiliki sumber daya berupa pengetahuan, laboratorium, maupun para akademisi yang menggeluti bidang halal product, tentu saja memiliki kesadaran, i’tikad dan kemauan yang serius untuk membantu si pemangku kepentingan, dalam hal ini LPPOM MUI maupun masyarakat Muslim Indonesia. Perguruan Tinggi di Jawa Tengah yang tergabung dalam Konsorsium Halal maupun tidak, dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi penegakan sistem halal maupun dengan mendirikan Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal (LPH) ata Pusta Kajian Halal. Lembaga Pemerika Halal nantinya dapat membantu MUI dalam  melayani kebutuhan masyarakat yang bersifat mandatory (wajib) ini. Lembaga ini nantinya diharapkan mampu memberikan pelayanan pemeriksaan kehalalan produk-produk makanan maupun obat-obatan dan kosmetika kepada khalayak, berupa pelayanan publik untuk pemeriksaan kehalalan produk, maupun penelitian-penelitian yang akan mengedukasi masyarakat. Baik tentang pemeriksaan produk halal, sertifikasinya, maupun bagaimana manajemen produk halal yang baik sehingga bermanfaat bagi kemaslahatan masyarakat secara ekonomi.
Untuk menuju kearah yang positif tersebut, Konsorsium Halal Jawa Tengah menganggap perlu diadakan sebuah Seminar Nasional Halal. Seminar ini diharapkan akan mampu mengumpulkan para akademisi pegiat halal product maupun masyarakat Indonesia pada umumnya, untuk menuangkan berbagai gagasan, metode-metode ilmiah, maupun knowledge & experience sharing agar manajemen produk halal yang baik bagi stakeholders maupun masyarakat bisa ditemukan. Tentu saja forum ilmiah tersebut juga akan menjadi wadah diskusi yang menarik bagi perguruan-perguruan tinggi di Indonesia yang memiliki concern besama untuk mendirikan Lembaga Pemeriksa Halal di Indonesia.

The ICCME 2015 carries out the green technology towards sustainable chemical process. This term denotes to bring new innovation in chemical process. This fields is aimed to make sustainable without depleting the sources, to end the cradle to grave cycle of enginered product being the cradle to cradle cycle on the product that can be fully re- used/reclaimed, source reduction by waste and pollution reduction, to promote innovation as alternative technology, and to make viable the economic activity around technology and product. Implementation of this topic can be seen in alternative energy technology, green chemistry, and green nanotechnology.
